In 2024, TMC Health celebrated 80 years of building on its success. We’re no longer just a community hospital but one of the biggest integrated health care systems in the country. Providing exceptional care with compassion, while expanding its healthcare services, remains the key mission of TMC Health.
Commitment to delivering care where patients work and live
TMC fosters community through its patient care services in Southern Arizona, reaching patients from Marana to Nogales, Ajo to Wilcox and beyond. Through TMC’s growth, Benson Hospital and Northern Cochise Community Hospital joined the TMC Health family in 2024. Tucson Medical Center Rincon also opened its doors. We added Cochise County mobile MRI and expanded TMC Pharmacy. It is also valuable to note that TMCOne is now recognized as the region’s fastest growing primary care and specialty services provider.
Your participation in TMC Mega Raffle makes a difference
Since its inception in 2012, TMC Mega Raffle has raised more than $17.5 million to help enhance patient care services at TMC Health. The dollars from the TMC Mega Raffle allow TMC’s Health Foundation to designate funds for patient care programs and treatments that benefit areas throughout TMC Health.
Thanks to the community’s continued support of the TMC Mega Raffle, here is a sample of some of the ways last year’s raffle dollars helped make a difference:

TMC Health Expands to meet Patient Needs – Opens Rincon Hospital
TMC Health System opened a full-service acute-care hospital in southeast Tucson to meet the health needs of the growing area. In May, Rincon Hospital opened with 29 beds and the capacity to expand to 55 beds. The hospital offers emergency, primary, specialty and urgent care along with an outpatient surgery center.
It’s the care the communities near TMC have come to expect and deserve.

The Community’s Choice for Emergency Care
If you need emergency care for something as simple as stitches or as serious as a heart attack, you’ll find highly trained staff and a multitude of medical specialists at the Tucson Medical Center Emergency Department (ED). TMC prioritized expanding the ED with a $32 million renovation. TMC is adding 29 beds to further accommodate the ever-increasing demand of Tucson-area patients who want to be seen by our skilled physicians, nurses and staff.

TMC Pharmacy Opens To Provide Community With Expanded Pharmacy Services
The TMC Pharmacy opened in 2023. The new pharmacy, including a drive-through, is located across from the TMC Campus at 5310 E Grant Road. It is an example of how TMC Health fulfills its mission of providing exceptional health care with compassion.
