TMC Health is expanding its network to bring care closer to home and introduce innovative programs. In 2024, Tucson Medical Center Rincon opened to serve Southeast Tucson, and the TMC Health Cancer Center launched through a unique collaboration to deliver comprehensive cancer care for Southern Arizona. The year also brought new pediatric programs to Cochise County and a modernized Emergency Department at Tucson Medical Center.
The TMC Mega Raffle Makes An Impact
Your participation in the TMC Mega Raffle makes a difference right in your community. Since its inception in 2013, the TMC Mega Raffle has raised more than $20 million for TMC Health. Your dollars spent on TMC Mega Raffle tickets allows the TMC Health Foundation to designate funds for patient care programs and treatments, state-of-the-art technology and training across TMC Health.

TMC Health Aquires Dexa Scanners to Expand Access to Rural Communities
Benson Hospital and Northern Cochise Community Hospital are now home to state-of-the-art DEXA scanners, expanding access to advanced bone health diagnostics across the region.
The advanced Hologic DXA system offers faster, more detailed imaging for patients, significantly enhancing the hospitals’ ability to diagnose osteoporosis and osteopenia – conditions that affect bone density and increase the risk of fractures, particularly in older adults.

TMC Health and the physicians of Arizona Oncology teamed up to create the TMC Health Cancer Center, the largest cancer care network in Southern Arizona. With seven locations across Tucson, the center offers comprehensive cancer treatment to over 6,000 patients each month.
A multidisciplinary team of trusted oncologists, surgeons and specialists work together to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Improving access to care, as well as timeliness of care are cornerstones of TMCOne Today— a telehealth service that provides same-day appointments for existing TMCOne patients.
“I have seen a number of patients who are ill and are very grateful for the option to be seen through telehealth,” said Hope Goodman, family nurse practitioner, TMCOne Today. “Most seem to be relieved that they were seen on the same day by someone in their primary care provider’s office.”
TMCOne Today providers are an extension of the TMCOne primary care team, so they can coordinate with a patient’s provider more seamlessly and are fully equipped to order same-day testing to diagnose a patient. They can also help manage preventive health needs such as mammograms and routine labs.
