Early Bird Prize Winners’ Stories – 2018

Early Bird Prize #1 Winner – Robert Vernon

Robert and his wife Ann were very surprised to learn they were our 2018 Early Bird winners of Early Bird Prize #1 a trip for two to Kenya, Africa, for a Safari, plus the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport 4X4 and $17,000 CASH. Robert retired from the Navy in Maryland and moved to Sierra Vista more than twenty years ago. He’d received care at TMC and thought the Mega Raffle was a fun way to support the hospital.  He’s been participating in the TMC Mega Raffle for five years, but this is the first time he’s won a prize. He’s now looking forward to driving his new car and his wife is excited to travel.

Early Bird Prize #2 Winner – Joanne Haller

Joanne is a first-time prize winner that entered the Mega Raffle for the second time, never expecting to win anything. Joanne moved back to Tucson a few years ago to be near family and help take care of her Mom. “I was very pleased with the care my Mom received at TMC and thought the raffle supported a great cause – it never dawned on me that I would win something like this.” Joanne is the winner of Early Bird Prize #2 – the vacation for two to Iceland and the 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk, plus $17,000. Excited to travel, Joanne now needs to decide who will be joining her on vacation.
