Doctors can have a conversation with the patient and focus on the patient, while DAX records the conversation and automatically creates clinical documents and summaries.

“One doctor even shared that for the first time, he no longer had to do charting at home,” said Josh Lee, M.D., TMC Chief Health Information Officer. “When he left work all of his visits were complete.”

This innovative program is intended to improve record-keeping accuracy and clinical quality.

All patients must provide consent before their provider can use DAX. The program was launched at all 18  Tucson-area TMCOne clinics. The clinics provide care for wellness, as well as primary, pediatric and specialty care.
