- Joined Mayo Clinic Care Network in connecting TMC to 4,500 physicians and scientists
- Named Best Hospital for knee replacement by S. News & World Reports in 2015
- Founded partnership to launch comprehensive downtown clinic, Health on Broadway
- Opened 44,000-square-foot TMC Rincon medical campus in early 2017
- Expanded women’s services – opened Joel M. Childers, M.D., Women’s Center in 2017

Cardiac Aftercare Massage
Tucson Medical Center’s Cardiac Aftercare Massage program provides comfort and care to post-operative patients, while improving circulation a stronger immune system, and mood improvement. With support from the TMC Mega Raffle, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and valve patients benefit from medical massage treatments during recovery.Learn More
Physical Therapy iPad Apps
Thanks to funds from TMC Mega Raffle, the Acute Therapy Department at Tucson Medical Center has access to technology and equipment that helps facilitate patient rehabilitation. Physical Therapists utilize iPads and app technology as part of a patient’s treatment. The apps provide patients the opportunity to work on cognitive tasks, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, balance exercises, attention deficits and visual perception skills.Learn More
Outpatient Lactation Support for Nursing Mothers
Funds from TMC Mega Raffle allow new moms to visit the outpatient breastfeeding clinic even if the service is not covered by their insurance or if they cannot otherwise afford it. This vital service provides mothers with expert advice and instruction from the lactation specialists as TMC teaches new moms the skills and techniques to successfully breastfeed.Learn More
Pediatric Therapy Equipment
Proceeds from TMC Mega Raffle allowed the hospital’s occupational therapists to purchase much-needed supplies and equipment for pediatric inpatients. The tools and equipment include a pediatric Hoyer Lift that is supporting young patients after spinal surgery.Learn More
We Honor Veterans
TMC Hospice joined with national partners, We Honor Veterans, and the Hospice Veterans Partnership to better care for and honor veterans needing palliative care. With help from TMC Mega Raffle, TMC Hospice can better address the unique medical challenges that come from years of service. TMC provides care for more than 225 U.S. veterans each year.Learn More
Music, massage, art and pet therapies are only a few of the meaningful complimentary services offered at Peppi’s House, TMC’s inpatient hospice program. Peppi’s House also has a pediatric inpatient program and its complimentary therapies have a strong impact on children and their families. Plans are in the works to expand hospice care for children at TMC.Learn More
