Early Bird Prize Winners’ Stories – 2021

Early Bird Prize #1 Winner – Judith Davis

Longtime Tucson resident, Judith, was brought to tears when she answered the call from Kathy and learned she was the big Early Bird prize winner of the 2021 Cadillac XT6 plus $20,000 cash. She’s been entering the raffle annually to support Tucson Medical Center – never expecting to win anything. Judith’s late husband received care at TMC several times and last year, when she was diagnosed with cancer, she had surgery and treatments at TMC. After spending the year at home, she is now cancer-free, she’s received her COVID vaccine, and is heading out to dinner with friends to celebrate. She is extremely grateful to TMC for her good health and to the TMC Mega Raffle for helping to support patient care. “I really can’t believe it, I never thought about winning. This is all so amazing – I feel truly fortunate.”

Early Bird Prize #2 Winner – Scott Sather 

Scott saw an ad for the TMC Mega Raffle last year and considered entering. This year, when the commercials aired, he made sure to enter. And he is extremely glad he did. Scott is the winner of the Early Bird prize package of the 2021 Land Rover Defender plus $20,000 cash. Scott and his wife, Rebecca, have both received care at Tucson Medical Center and love knowing that the funds from the Mega Raffle go to do something good and support care for patients. The Sathers are shocked and excited to be first-time winners and can’t wait to check out their new car.
